What is The Penny Power Project? +
The Penny Power Project is a youth-led financial literacy education initiative founded in 2025. We teach students about budgeting, saving, investing, credit, loans, and other essential financial topics through workshops at libraries, schools, and community centers.
Do students have to pay to attend programs? +
No! All of our programs are completely free. We believe financial literacy education should be accessible to everyone regardless of their financial situation.
Who runs The Penny Power Project? +
The Penny Power Project is student-led and student-run. Our team designs curricula, leads workshops, and manages community partnerships — all with the goal of making financial literacy accessible and engaging.

What age groups do you teach? +
Our programs serve students from 2nd grade through 12th grade. We tailor our content to be age-appropriate — younger students learn about money basics, wants vs. needs, and saving, while older students explore investing, credit, and loans.
